Step 2

How to enter your Vauxhall radio code

Once you have your code, key it in like this.

  1. Presets 1–4 each set one digit.
  2. Hold preset 5 (or the tuning knob) to confirm.
  3. Radio refuses a first digit above 1? Use the alternative code we give you.

Locked out? Older Blaupunkt fascias will not accept a first digit above 1. If yours refuses the code, we give you the alternate form alongside it — same last three digits, different first.

FAQ

Vauxhall radio code questions

Where is my Vauxhall radio serial?

CDR500 and CDR2005 units do not show it. Remove the radio with release keys and copy the 14-character serial starting GM from the label.

How many tries do I get?

Ten. After that the unit is permanently locked and needs replacing, so never guess — get the right code first.

My Vivaro shows a 4-character code with presets 1 and 6.

That is a Renault precode — the Vivaro and Movano used Renault radios up to 2014. We do those instantly.
