FAQ

Renault radio code questions

How do I get my Renault precode?

Switch the radio on and hold presets 1 and 6 for about 5 seconds. A letter and 3 digits appear, e.g. A123. That is all we need.

My Renault radio says WAIT or ERROR.

Too many wrong tries. Leave the radio switched on for 30–60 minutes and it will let you try again.

My Renault is from 2010 or later.

Most Renaults from about 2010 (MediaNav, R-Link) link the code to the VIN, so there is no precode to work from. A Renault dealer can help with those.
