How to enter your radio code

Most radios use the preset buttons to set each digit, then one button to confirm. Here’s the right button for yours.

The usual method

  1. Switch on. The display shows CODE, SAFE or 0000.
  2. Press preset 1 until the first digit is right. Then presets 2, 3 and 4.
  3. Press the confirm button for your radio (see table).

If it says CODE again

The code was entered wrongly or is for a different radio. Stop and check the serial against the label before trying again — every wrong try adds a delay. Read the locked radio guide.

Blaupunkt tip

Some older Blaupunkt radios won’t accept a first digit above 1. We give you an alternative code for those automatically.
